Thought I would share one of my recent FourSquare check-in lists--Best Mexican Spots in Los Angeles! Try 'em out and tell me what you think. I have a bunch more lists up my sleeve, so there's definitely more where this came from. Eat your hearts out, bitches!!
Also, i'm a bit of a check-in whore, so
follow me for a play-by-play of LA hot spots (because obvi, I only check in at hot spots)
The best Mexican food spots in this city. From the classy to the not-so -classy. Arriba!
145 Palmetto Dr. At S Pasadena Ave., Pasadena, CA
90-year-old restaurant with the strongest house margarita in town. Plus happy hour is every day until 7pm--buy any drink and a Mexican food buffet is on the house. SWEET.
2345 Honolulu, Montrose, CA
I'm not sure what the hell they put into their enchilada sauce, but it effing rocks. Monster Monday for cheap tacos, suckaaa.
464 Foothill Blvd. at Gould Ave., La Canada, CA
Tacos are OK. But the made-at-your-table guac is absolutely to DIE for. Plus the $8 fish bowl margs on Margarita Monday totally make Mondays suck that much less.
1266 S Glendale Ave at E Cypress St, Glendale, CA
The best late night drunk munchies stop in Glendale/Atwater Village. Close to the Griffin and Big Foot. Not exactly sure what food item is the best, because I always forget in the morning!
12161 Ventura Blvd. btwn Laurel Canyon & Laurelgrove, Studio City, CA
Just order a pitcher of the Skinny Girl margs and thank me later. All the food is authentic and delicious. Ambiance is perfect, right in the heart of Studio City's main drag.
11755 W Pico Blvd Barrington, Los Angeles, CA
Gonna have to say this is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in LA. The food, drinks, service...it's all amazing. Definitely a must try!
3447 N Verdugo Rd at Ocean View Blvd, Glendale, CA
Looking for authentic Mexican cuisine? Look no further. The best, freshest Mexican food in Glendale.
